Science Fair

MYP students participated in the annual Science and Design Fair where each group presented a project illustrating their understanding of the concepts they explored in science and design. Students designed and made prototypes of home-made microscopes, solar lights, water filtration systems and thermoses, others created 3D models of body systems, and still others designed and presented reports on experiments to measure pH values and look at dilution. Students also explored camouflage and its importance in the wild. Judging teams included both science teachers and DP students who had a clear rubric and made rounds to listen to each group. Winners will be announced soon!
