In the Middle School, the Arab International Academy – Doha places strong emphasis on Social and Emotional Learning as a key component of student wellbeing and balanced development, alongside academic growth. At this pivotal stage in students’ lives, developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and positive relationships becomes as important as academic achievement.
The Academy is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves with respect and confidence, take responsibility for their decisions, and approach challenges with resilience and empathy. Through daily interactions, meaningful dialogue, and collaborative work, students strengthen their communication skills, learn to resolve conflicts constructively, and make thoughtful decisions that reflect their personal and social values.
Social and Emotional Learning prepares students to become balanced individuals who can manage stress, build healthy relationships, and participate positively in their communities. Through this approach, we aim to empower our students to grow with confidence and responsibility, ready for university life and beyond as self-aware learners and future leaders.
