Student Voice
At the Middle School level, the Academy is committed to empowering students as active partners in their school community, ensuring that they have a meaningful voice and a genuine role in initiating ideas and creating positive change. The Student Council plays a central role in representing students’ perspectives, contributing to discussions on school-related matters, and organizing initiatives and events that foster leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.
Classroom-based research projects also provide students with rich opportunities to express their interests, demonstrate their skills, and develop authentic projects that reflect deep thinking and growing independence as learners. In addition, student-led conferences provide an important platform for students to share their academic progress and reflect on their learning journeys. Assemblies, school activities, and events also offer opportunities for students to express their views and engage positively with the school community.
Through this approach, the Academy cultivates a school culture that values student voice, strengthens a sense of belonging, and supports dialogue, participation, and responsibility. This prepares students to become confident learners and active leaders within their school and wider community.
